Retail and Experience Assistant

We are looking for Retail and Experience Assistants to work in our distillery shop & admissions area, responsible for the stock and presentation of the shop, including the sale and up sale of spirit products, tickets & merchandise. 

Working within our Retail and Admissions operation will be your primary duty; however, you will be expected to perform other duties across the distillery which will involve conducting distillery tours and tastings. 

As a start-up, we are looking for people who can hit the ground running & who will be flexible in their approach. An interest in the spirits industry would be an advantage. 

You: hardworking, positive, team player, loves a challenge, passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, great with people and happy to muck in where required for our busy start-up.

Guide and Experience Assistant

We are currently seeking engaging and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Guide and Experience Assistants. 

Responsible for providing a world class hospitality service to all visitors at Holyrood Distillery. They will ensure that all tours are delivered to the highest standard and each visitor receives a personalised and dynamic experience, while always looking for opportunities to offer little extras to help create a memorable visit. 

Delivering a varied programme of tours and experiences will be their primary duty; however, they will also perform other duties across the distillery - selling and upselling experiences and product in the shop, visitor welcome and reception area, and in the Distillery Bar. 

The individual must enjoy interacting with the public and be confident with public speaking, tailoring experiences for visitors from around the world. 

As a start-up, we are looking for people who can hit the ground running, will be flexible in their approach, will thrive in an empowering environment, and who will bring ideas and help shape the business as we move forward. 

You: confident, energetic, good humoured, great communicator, love meeting new people, charismatic and happy to muck in where required for our busy start-up; a wee bit of spirits knowledge would be a bonus!
